That's great looking ride.. Wondering,, Does/did your Dad say he'd be OK for you to change it out..?
I am an Old man (almost 70 now),, but I know if and when I give my Son my bike to park next to his St-glide,, I'd like him to at least honor and Remember me by leaving it mostly as it was when I give it to him.!!!!
This is Just me pondering over my/his future thoughts after I am gone..
Something's that's altered may never be the same again... But, the Memories and the looks of your dad's bike as when you acquired it is for sure one of them I think you might later regret of loosing.

That's an interesting thought. I actually bought it from him, but either way he didn't have any issue with it. I've sent him a picture of it since and he said it looks great and should have done it when he bought it. I have kept all the stock parts and bags and everything and will be able to put the bike back to original should I ever want to some day.
