Default Another bar change.

Now

Then

After about a year of riding around with 14" Gangster Apes I officially decided they were just not comfortable to me.
I did a little looking around and found a set of 9.5" Flanders buckhorns and thought they might fit the bill...a little bit lower...a little bit norrower...and a ton of pullback.
So I switched back to stock riser, ran the wires through the bars and BAM! Instant comfort.
I really enjoy the way these feel and look. I think it give the bike a little more classic appeal.
A little bonus: the stock risers allow me easy access to the allen bolts unlike the Carlini springer risers so I can adjust the bars back a little and snap on my detachable windshield for long rides.

The only way either bar looks comfortable to me is if I were 8 ft tall. Definitely a unique style.

Both bars look good, but comfort is the most important.

I like that, it does look more classic than the Carlinis on that Springer.

Looks like a healthy Springer Spaniel in your avatar too

Exactly. If you really ride the bike and put down some miles, comfort is the deciding factor.

How's the change I wrist angle, looks like a big difference. Those 14s were pretty high, but I think a knuckles forward grip is more comfortable. I guess that's why they make all kinds of bars! Current bars definitely suit the springer style more though.

It is a big difference but I think the wrist angle is the best part of these bars.
