Hi-jack by all means. I'm looking for opinions of the ride. need all the info of what to expect and to look out for.
Liking a particular bike is a very personal thing.
Things I like about the Fatboy:
* It sits low. I am 5'8". It is important to me that I can flat-foot the bike to enable me to back it into spaces, etc. I had a high-sitting bike once and it was a mistake.
* The Fatboy controls wonderfully in tight turns such as right-hand turns and freeway off-ramps, some of which are tight in California. This may be due to the low center of gravity and wide handlebars. The fat tires also seem to help.
* Stable on the freeway.
* Love the forward controls, the heel shifter, footpads. These are possible add-ons for any Harley, but standard on the Fatboy.
looking at a couple lo's but the best priced one's would have to be shipped, which isn't a big deal. the suspence of the time for them to get here would kill me, lol
Make it an adventure. Fly in, ride back. That's what I did in '09, and on a Sportster no less.
