Just turned 14,000 miles on my Fat Boy S. Not too bad for 10 months. Had some electrical issues, 3 times the left turn signal and high beam light on the dash have stopped working. The headlight housing burned out too which the dealership replaced.

Jeez. I just hit 7k and we bought our bikes about a week apart. I've put 2500 on my BMW since then, but still, you burn up some miles.

I have a Springer too, I put about 2000 miles or so on that a year. I like to ride, got the weather for it here and most rides are long because of the flat straight roads.

I'm just up the road in Savannah. It's the same hot flat kind of riding. I'm only 300 miles from eastern Tennessee though!

Hot? Flat? hehh - try Texas...
I liked the Great Smoky Mtns so much I bought some land there near Gattlinburg.
I plan to move there & build a house when I retire. Love the riding there.

I rode all year long in west Texas when I was stationed here! Only thing I don't miss are the slick spots on the road from when the blacktop melts and cars pack it down.

Just rode through Savannah, on my way to and home from NC this week. Yes it's really hot on I-95 in that area. I stopped at Savannah HD for air conditioning and restrooms.

That's where I bought my bike. Some good people. The ship is new. Their old store was kind of a dump.
An Indian dealer set up shop in the old Building, but they remodeled it completely. It's nice if it weren't for the ugly motorcycles.

I'm from Oklahoma originally. I knew how Horner gets out that way. It's slightly less hot here, but much more humid. I can't decide which ins worse.
