The dealer washed the bike after installing tires, so I took some new pictures.

Thank you. Bottom line up front, I have no complaints. The only time I sat on the stock seat was on the showroom floor. Prior to my Slim being delivered to my home (Late January Wisconsin) I ordered the Mustang. This was based upon friends who recommended a seat change due to the stock one known for being a bit "brick like". Upon delivery, the Mustang went on. This is my first Harley as well, so I have nothing to fall back on. My prior rides have been cafe cycles. Different ergonomics. Maybe one with a more seasoned back side could chime in on this one? Longest ride with it has been around 100 miles +/-. That seems to be my limit before I need to stop and stretch a bit. That may be me more than the seat though. My choice for a Mustang is I felt it was not an over sized pillow, but not another brick either. That and my riding is limited. For the exception of the occasional trek, most of my riding is local. So I THINK a good place to start would be to figure out how long are you going to be planted on your ride. If it's similar to what I have going on, it may be something to consider. I also have the passenger Mustang seat for my girl. I asked for her thoughts on our first ride. She digs it. Either way, I feel I'm still getting acquainted with it. It's coming along splendidly.

I read that in a different post. I often set cruise control and let go entirely. The bike tracks straight and true.

Mine tracks in a straight line with the cruise on and hands off or gently touching the bar. A slight weight shift to either side will have the bike move in the intended direction. Well balanced.
