That's cool Gunny. Isn't there some kind of law against that though?the bike is looking great.

I'm waiting for the soft lowers to appear on these pages. Cool and functional.

BTW. Is the canvas treated for UV protection?
I guess some fading will look good, but too much means replacing it from time to time.

I use a product called 303 Aerospace Protectant to UV protect anything from cloth, to rubber, to flat or textured powder coat. Really good stuff.

Wachuco, I like that rack. Would it work with a quick disconnect?

Splatttttt....t (?) I'm not sure how many t's)
Wachuco's rack is quick-disconnect. Check out his mod thread for how he made the HD rack work without the need to relocate the turn signals. Creative, efficient and effective. All the traits of good engineering.

There is no law against having the MP on the bike. It has no red and blue lights and does not say Police anywhere on it. No one could argue they legitimately thought it was a Police vehicle. I spent 30 years as a LEO so I figure I at least earned that. After all the MP stands for Milf Patrol he he. I'm hopin it does fade a bit giving that older look to it. As for 303 Protectant, I used that for many years on my Jeeps to help prevent UV damage. This canvas has a generous helping of Silicone protection sprayed on it before the fitting. Got some 1" OD cotton strap material from military surplus to hold the two lower halves together

These forums are great for seeing how things look on the bike before deciding what to buy? Thought that screen would look too modern but it's going to be my next purchase once the weather cools down.
