Got my fangs (wind deflectors) yesterday. Will get them powdercoated over the winter but wrapped them in carbon fiber vinyl in the meantime for grins...

Not a bad idea if they actually were cunstructed of cf to begin with to save on weight
I've got the mustang wide tripper pillion seat & although mustang say it won't fit with the stock solo seat, it does ! No complaints from the mrs either.
Is it possible to show me a picture of the wide tripper installed please!
Thanks in advance Paullavery
Another seat option is the Mustang vintage solo seats. I bought one for my Slim before I went pogo. A very comfortable seat that has several rear seat options of different widths available. The seat looks bigger on this photo than it actually is. It looked pretty good.
Went for a quick ride after installing the fangs. I estimate that the fork mounted wind defectors eliminated 80% of the wind buffeting... I have a 6.5" spoiler windshield on order and hoping that'll eliminate the remaining buffeting I'm experiencing with the batwing fairing (which I'm using during cold weather riding). Here's a pic of it all installed... The fangs look good with the fairing, but look goofy without it.

I like the idea of the LED bulb replacement, keeping the original look to the headlight.
I just went with a replacement H4 bulb that is supposed to be 140% brighter than a stock bulb, will find out later if it is any good ! Hope you have better luck with removing your stock bulb though, mine was corroded to the 3 pins & a friggin nightmare to remove, great quality HD parts on a 2 month old bike !
I'm figuring you put a good dab of diaelectric grease around the connector before you installed the new bulb. Harley usually does that, I'm surprised yours was corroded.
