I was at my local dealer to have tire replaced and went inside to look at new slim s (Nice bike ) .I also saw a new 2015 black heritage (Nice looking Bike) on floor with a 19 plus tag on handle bar . I think bike had a couple extras on it ABS, security, dealer prep ,delivery.no color option it was black . The salesman came over and I asked how much would they discount bike and he said 2000 off . I than told him the new Heritage is 1000 less with cruise ,high output 103,Throttle by wire and asked if he could do better and of course he said when I was ready to deal he would see . I Don't blame salesman . There is another dealer a few miles from me with another 2015 heritage . I wonder how much more they would discount the 15s.
I would think they'd be blowin' the 15s out. ESPECIALLY since the 16s are less money. Or is there a reason the new ones are less money? After all, they must have cut costs somewhere.
Question One....
It seems from reading about the experiences of other on this board that the dealers are more apt to deal when one finances, rather than when one comes in and plunk cash money on the table.
Question Two....
If one finances to get the better deal, is there an early pay-off penalty?
