Tranny sound in neutral

Tranny sound in neutral

My 2008 Heritage has a new sound (at least I think so) when I shift into neutral the tranny has a louder sound when I let the clutch out - sort of a growl.
All fluids have been checked and are normal.
Has 18,000 miles
When in gear all sounds are normal.
Any ideas, or is this just something new for me to focus on?

Inner Primary Bearing

I would replace it with the Baker unit.

Thanks - - you were right. l also had to replace the compensator..

The son has had both of the same replaced..

noise in nuetral was the IPB...

Grinding on start up was the Comp....

For others, the MoCo now has a SE comp replacement that a perfect match for the stock 96''ers..
