New Sound
Depending on where it's coming from it may be something as harmless as the primary chain tensioner a little too tight. Back when I was worried about it being an inner primary bearing going bad I did some checking on the obvious. I popped open the primary and dropped my tensioner down a couple of notches and all was good. Naturally has since come back, especially when the bike is hot. The key thing was that it would do it in gear with clutch disengaged or in neutral with clutch engaged or not. It doesn't bother me anymore.
Good luck, I hope it's something simple.
