When I look at this bike, I just don't get it. What is Harley trying to get across with this bike. The big tire? I don't get the concept? can someone point it out to me. probably sounds like a dumb question. Don't mean to offend anyone that owns one, just trying to wrap my brain around it.

Harley was probably trying to make a bike that some people will like and buy.
Some people like it and buy it.
Same thing with the Rocker, which preceded it.
V-rod has the wide rear tire too.

it's a low and long bar hopper style with a fat tire. some people like this look without having to convert a regular softail.

It's the factory nod to the Pro-Street bikes that were a spawn of chopper riders and drag racers. People found that if you rake the front but keep the frame and C of G low, you could launch a built Harley really well. Add some chrome and nice paint, you get a genre of bike known as the Pro-Street. The Breakout was Harley's attempt to capture the theme.

It's not my choice of bike, but I like them anyway.

Loved the Breakout ever since it came out. Guess what, I own one now. IMO, it's the best looking bike HD has. It doesn't look like all the other bikes HD has in its lineup.

The Breakout CVO has one of the best HD commercials ...

The bike looks awesome imo. Riding style isn't for me but I certainly understand how people can fall in love with that bike.
