The other day, I pulled up next to a dude on a CVO Breakout. The chrome colored one with red and black graphics. Nice bike. I haven't had a chromed bike in several years, it's not to my taste, but I'd ride that thing just how it sat. We talked while waiting for the light. He had as many questions about my bike as I did his.
Savannah HD closed for a week as they moved into a really nice, much bigger facility. I stopped in today at lunchtime to see how it looks. A really nice place on I95 that will surely attract the Daytona comers and goers.
Anyway, they received a new white with graphic Breakout during the week and today was the first day it could be seen. Two different guys were trying to decide between it and black Street Glides. I had to go back to work, so I didn't stick around to see what happened.
The CVO is definitely leading the way in terms of flashy stuff, but the stock Breakout is still a very nice bike.
Rocker - I like what you have going there.
I guess I should chime in as a BO owner. I get a lot of compliments on it going to bike nights, and mostly from "older" bikers. I think HD wanted to go after a younger demographic with it, trying to get those guys who graduated from a Sportster but dont want a touring. I'm in that exact demographic and the BO caught my attention immediatly when I started shopping for a bike. Its just a low slung, fat, bad *** bike.
