Default reflectors

any idea on how to get the reflectors off the struts and front forks?

Fishing line and/or a heat gun. Then a little WD-40 to get the goo off.

Channel Locks or pliers and just pull. Glue should come off also.

True that. Even if you break one. You're taking them off and probably not reinstalling. Even if you needed a replacement -- a reflector can't cost much.

we have to have them on the bike for inspection every 2 years, but they don't care that we just put 2 dollar stick on's, then rip'em off when we're done.

if your forks are painted, it will cut into powder coat if you're not careful with the fishing line, I've made that mistake before

Heat them with hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Then I pried with a soft plastic tool and they popped off.

IMO opinion they look a lot better than bikes mangled lying on their side, flashing lights and those white outlines painted on the street.


Why not leave them on? Better then getting hit at night, bikes have very limited side lighting at night.....there's a reason they are there.
