IMO opinion they look a lot better than bikes mangled lying on their side, flashing lights and those white outlines painted on the street.
Why not leave them on? Better then getting hit at night, bikes have very limited side lighting at night.....there's a reason they are there.
I leave them on also...safety at night and they are a pain in our state now if you don't have them. I have my rocker custom fixed up sweet and I don't think they are that intrusive.
When I think of safety, I err on the side of sticking around longer and drinking way more Guinness with my brothers and sisters in Ireland and riding sisters and brothers in the states...NLOL...
Ride safe.
I'm thinking about adding a led pod or two under the gas tank to light the engine for a safety feature. I'm not crazy about leaving them on while parked (the current trend) but just a little extra visibility. I'd prefer this to the reflectors.
I saw a guy riding the other night that had a valve stem LED on his wheels that sure lit him up from the side. Not sure I'd rock one, but it sure stood out.
