Checked it out and it is legal in N.J. The rear signal set up on Wachuko's is not the same as on my 2016 Slim S' so that license set up would not work for me, the 2017 has same signal light as the pictured one. Went to local HD to see cost of changing the set up of rear signals, dealer wants $350.00 for same set up as the pictured one. Needless to say $350 to relocate the license plate is not for me. Thanks anyhow.

That is strange Did you buy yours new? Or used and previous owner changed the stock unit? I thought all of them came with that (for the USA, I know Canada has a different setup from the fender).
What you see in my bike is the stock mount that I only flipped the tag frame...
Stock
and after turning the plate/frame where the tag goes...
I bought the Slim in December from HD in Tenn. and had it shipped. Slim is a 2016 and it had 750 mi. On it. As you can see the signals and plate set up is not the same.. this is why I was confused with the photos and asking about the brackets..
I went to a local HD and saw a 2017 model and it had the same set up as yours.
So thank you for the reply.

Notice that the signal bracket is different
License plate is mounted on rear
This is the turnsignal relocation kit....
You can now mount a QD rack/sissybar
without (a simple) modification to the
end attachment clasp.
So for what its worth, after I added the turnsignal relocation
kit to my FLS, I located the license plate with an axle mount
bracket since my personal preference is not the factory fender
mount solution...
Now I get it, I remember someone mentioning this on the thread but it never occurred to me that this is the setup that I have. I bought it with a passenger seat and sissy bar. I thought that this was the stock Slim. So I Removed the seat and sissy bar, and I do not like the plates mounted on the rear. It covers too much of the tire. I liked the idea of being able to mount the seat and sissy bar in five minutes to take the lady out for a ride. But I also like the bike with a solo seat for most of the rides... I have to find another way to get that plate off the rear, don't like the one that mounts to the axel. WKNDS you cleared all the confusion about this mess... Thanks

Might go to post #318 in this thread, all you have to do is modify the
end-clasp of your QD rack/sissybar and you would not have to relocate
the turnsignals. If you received the stock stalks when you bought the
bike, you could reverse the relocation, thus putting the original sidemount
and signals back in place.
WKNDS actually I like the set up you have mounted on the right, I saw them on the left where they stick out too much because of the belt... there are hundreds if not thousands of brackets out there which one did you use.
No no Parts came with the bike....

Thanks, this is a cheap axle mount from Ebay. Think it was listed
for a Fatboy. It is configurable with a bolt on bracket for a brake
light if you wish, which I did not use. It can be mounted on either
side of the bike.
