Excuse my ignorance please I am building an evo softail and basically I want it to end up looking like a mildly modded deluxe
My current dilemma is I can't find anywhere what type of front end( wide glide, mid glide or ??) it's supposed to have also the fork lengths have eluded me
Are the necks on evo and tc frames the same? Ie can I put a deluxe 'stock style' front end on it without trouble?
One more thing do the nacelles clamp on or are there mounting tabs for these?
Any input will be appreciated except for this who insist on reminding me there's a search tool I know it's there and I tried it wish I had already found the answer but I haven't hence why I started this thread

You want a front end from an FL softail...I believe the lengths are all the same. You can use one from from a TC but the fork lock will not work. FL triple trees have tabs for nacelles.
Very basic I'm looking forward to a heritage, nostalgia, or deluxe look with apes no windshield bags etc just a bare bones rider
I know just about which front end I need just don't know if I should chance the triple trees on j&p cycles to be quality. The product description is vague and I don't want it to crack or something while I'm riding I got the pivot set from them and that is made in Taiwan but it didn't say that in the product description....
