Hi has anyone who has fitted this kit solved whst to do with the jiffy. Once extended the jiffy touches the primary case, metal to metal instead of the rubber bung which used to rptouch the case!
I installed this kit on my Night Train. Did not have any problem concerning the kick stand. I did discover that the rear brake pedal lever was difficult to reach after being extended forward 3 inches. I solved this by fabricating a curved lever.
Yeah, I found a similar issue with the +2 GoForward kit. You DON'T want to leave that touching your primary, or it will eventually damage the primary.
In order to solve the issue, I just glued a quarter-sized piece of rubber onto the rubber bumper on the kick stand. Added enough extra to push it back out where it should be.
Stupid issue... but an issue.
Edit to add:
This was on my '13 Slim.
