limited paint color

My 2011 Heritage is black & psychedelic purple. I got a stone chip on the front fender in the purple section. The paint shop I took it to said it was a CVO color and he could only get .5 oz. touch up bottles for $90 each. Said it would take 3. And he wants $250 labor. Is something rotten in Denmark????? What should this cost? Not even a 1/4 inch nick. Thanks in advance

Nobody else has this color ? Is the price about normal ?

The Harley "special" colors are expensive from Harley. A good custom paint shop can color match but it is never cheap

I needed the same thing. Went to my local supplier of automotive paints. The had a tool that was placed against the tank. Took the tool back in the store and connected it to their computer and get a printout of the formula to mix the color. They also had the ability to put it in a spay can. Got a spray can and a small touch up bottle for $28.00.

I have done this for two Harley with great matches for both.
