Default Wiring problem

I'm trying put control on a 2005 Fatboy
I've done several bike, they make it kind of idiot proof
By color coding the wire,I put everything together
But I have a solid white wire left over
Any ideas
Help please
Thanks my Harley Brothers!

You sure further down or on back, it does not have a stripe on it?

Welcome to the forum. We aren't looking over your shoulder so you have to be explicit and precise when explaining these types of things.

Is the extra white (with possible stripe on it) wire on the new (phantom) control or is it on the old control?

Are you replacing it with the correct part?

Only white I see is head light. Controls that are white seem to have a stripe.

Yep White is power for either the low beam or high beam on your headlight, the other is yellow. I can't remember off the top of my head which is which though

You never did elaborate on what control you are dealing with? Have you started it? There are a few left over wires for options and checks.
