low 70's today, was at 210ish after 50 mile run, all highway.

210 - 230 most of the time. This afternoon, 87 outside, 40 miles of two up riding and it was at 210 when I parked it. Amsoil 20w 50.

i just read in the new hog mag. the 07 bikes are programed to be leaner to meet epa. which will make the 07 run HOT.

My dipstick thermometer reads 210 when warmed up. But I've seen it hit 240 in traffic on a hot day.

I have been told the same thing about the new 96's running lean to meet EPA standards. Get a Power Commander and get it tuned throw in some good syn oil your temps should come down.

Changed the oil and got it down to low 200's. Back in bidness! Wonder if they really changed it at my 1000 mile service?

I stay around 200 ish and the hottest I have seen is 230.

I am feeling pretty good about those numbers considering my build.

My 2007 FXSTC (all stock) ran at about 225 degrees on a day with the temp in the 70's. Once I switched to H-D Synthetic the temp dropped 25 degrees. Now stays at about 200 degrees in the same type of day.
