434ci small block 595HP/565ft-lb. I prefer by far, a small block in order to keep the front lighter than a big block. That being said, big block produces big numbers much easier. There are pros and cons on both side! To be honest, I've got my hands full just to keep that beast on the road with these numbers.

I also improved braking and handling. Next step a full pro-touring kit! But to do so, I will have to stop adding parts to my Slim LOL!!!!Life is all about making choices

....And now back to our regularly scheduled programming :-)

Cheers

Sweet ride. Pre-69 Camaros are the best Camaros in my opinion. It looks great and sounds like a really good runner.

My last car was a '70 Skylark 455. I was always on the fence with big blocks until the Buick. Like you, I preferred a lighter front and the sound of a 350 based striker is hard to beat too. The torque made the Buick a great driver and I found myself loving the lower RPM stoplight romps.

Great work, very clever solution with the bag under the seat! I think your bike looks terrific.

V-Twin makes a cover for the battery & computer for the twin cam but I think it's for the narrow 150 tire like my bike, probably would need to be sectioned for a wider tire and if you can section it, you can build your own out of sheet metal.

Yeah, I almost bought it and modded it, but then I saw it gets bad reviews anyway. The one I have is solid built and fits. If I trim a small stand-off stud under the front, and lower the bracket in the back, it could go to the frame. There's just too much crap under the seat. Someday when I get a lithium ion battery, I'll just form some sheet metal directly to the frame, with the ECM underneath. Then it will look really proper. For now though, I'm pleased with he turnout.

And the tractor seat is very comfortable. I could ride all day on that thing.

the FLS-S. So bascially, its almost like getting a larger spigot case'd CVO 110 motor
for free....

Then there's the Screamin' Eagle A&S Clutch Kit. They cost a few hundred.
Actuated by the hydraulic clutch which is lighter than the tourers.
The black brake and clutch levers are the tourer type too.

The extra money is more than made up with engine components.
Not to mention the axle covers.

Offers good value for money. It's a sleeper for sure.

Great work SLV, I love your example.
Had the C-G seat on an FLD; perfect.

Ok, I've started on it. Hows this for a flat ECM Cover? (work in progress)

Test fitting/trimming tomorrow....
