I like the look of your Heritage.
I am aware of the other two forums but frankly was looking for opinions from Heritage owners to see if they were happy with the ability to tour comfortably or would they rather have a strictly touring bike i.e. A road glide.
Thanks

I LOVE my Heritage. If it were just me, that is the only bike I would have. My wife and I ride many miles together (15,000 this year) and she demands more comfort than the rear seat of the Heritage, so we have the Limited. It really depends on the riding that you do and how you use the bike. I am blessed with the means to own both bikes.

My Wife and I don't tour much in that we are on the road for days on end.
We do however take the occasional long weekend trip where-as we on the road for a couple of days.

We take a lot of local 4-6 hour rides but don't generally stay overnight.
That being said even for a 4-6 hour ride comfort is a must for both of us.

I love my Heritage.
The look is what drew me, but the ride is what will keep it always in my garage.
It just fits me and I feel comfortable on it regardless if I'm on the open road or in City traffic.

That being said we've done a number of things to it to increase it's riding comfort.

Not in any particular order:
1) Added Progressive 422 RAP shocks.
2) Added Signature Series Seat
3) Added Air Zeppelin passenger pillion
4) Added a driver's Harley Circulator pad
5) Added a leather Tour Pak
6) Added a Reckless Fairing with stereo

So if you add all that's above to the 103ci motor, ABS, and cruise control, why would you need anything else?
But even then would I trade my 09 Heritage for one that's got a 103ci motor, ABS, and cruise control? Not unless someone gave it to me.

Oh I forgot to mention one other thing I love about Heritage; IT'S PAID FOR!!!!

I agree the stock Heritage rear end sucks for the wife..

for longer ride you need to ADD.. for really good comfort.

*the thicker and wider rear pillion seat..

*the touring oversize Sissy bar pad..

*Floorboards

After I added these three things the wife now just gets tired and go in after 2-4 hr ride.. Where she use to be in pain after only 45 mins or so because of a bad tailbone with the stock rear seat...

Thanks for the feedback. Can't. Seem to justify getting rid of a bike that just keeps running, looks really good and IS PAID FOR!
