Correct, and might need the Dremel if you left the JB Weld proud.

a little off subject ?
I did the oil tank removal. Easier then I thought. A bit tedious. The oil lines AT THE OIL TANK are easily pinched with fingers and wiggled out. The "ports" where the oil lines fit into the tank were rusty so it was easy to clean them out. When you buy the replacement inserts with the O-rings, the O-ring tool is in each one. a little lube and the plug right back in.

still haven't modded my oil scavenger puck cause I'm not ready for a lube yet, but when I do, I'm gonna try and pull the oil lines off by hands just to see if I can LOL

I have no doubt that you could, but it would most likely damage the delicate plastic retaining clip, ........ and I can just picture that return line popping out while going down the highway.

That would be a major suck if it did. But I would most definitely want the oring kit before I try.
Is there some sought of an audible snap or click that happens when the lines get installed?

OP is more than done with this thread. Can't you'all move it to a PM instead of keeping this going?

Why not just unsubcribe and be done if you want to end your involvement?
Next time you get another email notification is when to do this.
I like the thread and it might progress to something further than where its at now.

Looked long and hard to find this thread, as I am finally ready to modify the oil pump tool and was just needing to get some last final how to on just how to hook it up to the bike"s return. If maybe someone who can help me through it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
