Welcome to S. Florida!

There are four Harley dealers in S. Florida. Peterson's Harley South, Peterson's North, Chester's Harley in Sunrise (Ft. Lauderdale) and Palm Beach Harley on 45th street in Palm Beach Gardens. About 100 miles between Peterson's South and Palm Beach Harley and the other two are about 20 miles apart in the middle. All can be located on a simple Google search.

I live near Chester's Harley and I've had good service there. In particular, even though I wrench on my own bike, I wanted someone trained to service my Springer front end the first time after I got the bike. The service dept. told me there was a tech with Springer experience, they brought him up to meet me, he said it would take 3 hours do the rocker adjustment and fallaway adjustment, which seemed reasonable to me after watching a video on what all is involved. Sure enough, they took me right in and 3 hours later on the dot he was done. On another occasion their parts man found me a part in stock for another bike that would work in mine when the springer specific part would need to be ordered.

So in summary I've had good service at Chesters. Their service dept is also open on Saturday and Sunday, I don't think the others are. I think Peterson's will pick up and deliver your bike, not sure if the others do that or not.

If you don't get more responses in this section, post your thread in the "Florida Crew" section of this forum, I have no real dealings with the other dealers so you might want to hear from their customers as well.

Of course, you can order parts online at Surdyke or Boardtracker Harley and save 20% if you can install them yourself.

I know UKLauren just bought a Fatboy S from Chesters and she's done some mods, if she doesn't chime in PM her to get her opinion. She's bought three bikes I can recall in the past few years, two from Chesters.

I also like Chester's Harley.. the guys at the parts department are very helpful.. no experience with service

Also... Peterson Miami... there is a girl in the parts department.. her name is Amy.. she has more knowledge about parts and bikes that most of us combined... besides that she is gorgeous and super helpful... she will stay with you and go through the options and parts until you are satisfied.. she is great..

Joe.. did you go to the Toy Run? I did.. rainy day.. I spent some time with the guys at V-Twin City.. I brought my scoot to their tent.. we had fun talking about bikes..

Joe I did not end up going to the toy run. I do go to cafe 27 most Sunday's in the afternoon. It's season and there are a ton of bikes there now. If you ever feel like joining me hit me up and I'll meet you over there. I usually stay for a little while and check out he bikes then ride over to Flossie's to do the same. Couple of hours of road time and usually some cool bikes to see.

Hi Johan, yes I also have a Fatboy S, I've used Chesters in Sunrise (Ft Lauderdale) for the mods and for service. I've put 6500 miles on it in 3 months and had the rear tire changed at 5000 miles because it was already worn.

It seems like all Fatboy parts fit the FLSTFBS so you shouldn't have any problems. I like Murph and Pete at Chesters Parts Department, they seem to know their stuff.

I hated my stock seat and got an Ultimate seat. They are located in Daytona which is about a 3 hour ride from Miami.

Are you coming here on vacation?
