Default wrong turn signals

so i was upgrading my factory turn signals to custom dynamics led inserts. stoped at my local dealer to pick them up they had the back but had to order the front. about a week later picked them up on my way home from work rushed home to put them in and they were wrong. the new ones they gave me are for a duel element socket ( running light and turn signal ) the lights on the front of my 2016 fatboy S are a single element. so i jump on my bike and back to the dealer i go. after telling me i was wrong for about 10 min they came outside and tried to but them in and wow they didn't fit. forward to a week later i stop at the dealer to get new led inserts and they tell me that after talking to HD someone put the wrong turn signals on my bike at the factory when it was built. this answer seems a little funny to me i would think the wire harness would be different and if not that QC would notice.

Your factory front signals should be dual element because they serve as both running light and turn signal. Mine definitely are on my 2016 Fat Boy Lo, so I can't see why yours would be any different unless it was an error at the factory like they told you. I agree it seems pretty strange though.

Doesn't surprise me....... my bike had the wiring switched around in my tail lights right from factory. Good ol' American QC!

You do realize that the front and rear are different, at least on old bikes like mine?
