Default FatBoy Mini Apes

I want to install 10" or 12 " mini-apes on a 2007 Fatboy and keep the stock risers. Does any one have a suggestion as to which bars are 1.25", I seem to only be finding 1" bars.

Thanks

Last I checked, wild one chubby are all stepped in the center. I ended up getting a set of hill country customs. They aren't stepped in the center. If I remember correctly, they only cost about $200 shipped.

Why do you want to stick with 1.25" bars? Fatboys have those big beefy front ends and look best with 1.5" diameter bars IMO.

Your controls and grips etc will all still work with a 1.5" bar. They are stepped down to 1" for your controls, grips etc... You may have to buy a new set of risers for the beefier bar but there are options out there to use your factory risers too. Some companies will sell you a 1.5" bar that is stepped down to 1.25" in the mounting area if you are concerned with not buying risers.

Not sure how tall you are or what height you want your bars at but I used a low Roadking riser with my 14" Carlini Flying Apes and they are a comfortable fit (this riser also allowed me to keep my riser cover that came with my nacelle kit with just a little bit of modification). I likely would have gone with 12" in the Carlini's bars but the 14's are pretty comfy as well. I'm 6'1" and this setup puts my hands around shoulder height or maybe 1/2" above. Carlinis tend to run about an inch taller than advertised as well.

Thank you everyone for your input. A 1.5" bar I never even thought of, will look into them.
