@Cocky. No, it's a really dense foam, but not as hard as the original. I looked at the memory foam and didn't like it. I've heard it flattens out over time. I'm gonna put a couple layers of a little bit softer 1/4" foam over it all before the cover goes on. So far, it feels a lot better.
I voted for the black and white seat. I think it's a better match for the colour scheme of your bike because you don't have a two tone paint job with white in it. Good luck with whatever one you go for.
I like the solid white. Think it's a beautiful contrast with the dark grean paint. Looks like the way a peppermint patty tastes. If that makes sence.
I gotta admit this is the best post after Uncle Larry's hot @ss blonde. lol. I know it will look different other than this pic of just the seat foam, but I'm digging the look from this angle. I'm reading a lot of it's not got two-tone paint, but I think it wouldn't look right at all like that. Plus my grandpas '49 was solid green. Being snowed in all weekend makes you think too much.

To me the two tone is busy and has a lot going on. Your paint is the main eye catcher in the scheme of things and the white seat compliments it nicely. Plus it's a perfect color match to those beautiful bags. Keeps things simple.
