I have a Leatherworks and it's an awesome quality bag. However, if money is of no concern to you, I would buy the Garage Leathers bag...... they have a very old-school looking buckle that goes good with the Lo and they are also excellent quality. I could not justify the difference in price between Garage Leathers and Leatherworks for a mere buckle so I went with Leatherworks. Whatever you decide.... don't buy the HD brand solo bag. The leather and quality is not even close to the same as the 2 companies I have mentioned.
The first photo has a Leather Works Solo Bag. Second photo has a Viking Solo Bag. Both great bags. If I needed another one I would go with the Viking Solo Bag, less $$$.
Which ever one you choose, wrap some electrical tape around the swing arm where the straps that hold the bag on go. They tend to wear the powder coating off.

Dont use the straps at all. Plenty of threads on how to hard mount the bag.

I got a Willie&Max from my girlfreind as a Christmas present. I had to do a little adjusting of the passanger floor board and my axel cover on my 96 Fatboy but other then that they are great quality and hold what I wanted to carry with no problems.
STAY AWAY FROM La Rosa!! The leather is like a wet noodle. Terrible swing arm bag!! If you want one though I'll sell you mine for $50. It cost me $180 and that was the worse $180 I ever spent in my life...and I've done plenty of dumb things with my money. lol I had it on my bike for 2 weeks before I took it off. Be warned...La Rosa is a piece of **** bag.
I now have a bag from Garage Leathers and it's amazing. Nice THICK leather and beautifully made that will take many years before it begins losing any of it's shape. I also heard good things about badgcustom bags and leatherworks, but Garage Leathers I can personally vouch for.
Willie & Max is not real leather and I'm not sure how well the shape will hold up. I tired to save money going with a La Rosa and I ended up spending more. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more now instead of going cheap...in both price and quality.
BTW. No problems with passenger pegs on a softail with a swing arm bag.
