Side Mount License Plate Question
I'm interested in getting a side mount license plate. I just learned that you can get a ticket in some states for having a vertical plate. I didn't know this before and I'm glad I found out before I got one. My question is,would the horizontal side mount plate drag when going around a turn? My first thought is that they would, but I haven't heard anyone talk about dragging theirs. Anyone have any problems with a horizontal side mount?

It shouldn't. I have a side mount on one of my other bikes, and I've never dragged it going around a corner. I plan on going to a side mount on my NT when I get my Heartland kit and don't foresee any problems. Yes, mine in verticle.
