Default Detacahble vs Fixed Sissy Bar

I am debating between purchasing a detachable sissy bar. Though I have heard issues of them rattling. or just getting a solid mount. Wondering what other people use or prefer thanks!

I have used the detachable one and it was vary secure. It you don't plan on ever removing it and it saves you some money than a fixed mounted one would work fine as well

I ended up just buying a fixed from Top Hand Ventures, aka Bowman Welding. I couldn't find a detach that I liked or worked well without altering the brackets or my tail lights. A little pricey but they look great.

I have a fixed one, to me they look "cleaner" then a detachable one. It is a modified stock wide glide sissy bar narrowed to fit my slim.

Everything on mine is detachable. I love the clean look when solo riding. No rattles on any of my detachables, I have a detachable rack as well.

Detachable here as well and all good. I cut the side plates so I didn't have to relocate my turn signals, easy to do and works just like it should.

Detachable, no rattles and I also modified mine so no relocation of the signal mount was needed. They don't make you actually relocate the signals, the kit just switches out the flared stem and places the signal on a straight bolt basically. They look like crap. You just have to cut off the hump on the backside of the plate, making it straight, and it will clear the signal mount with no need to change it.

I then painted the lower part of the sissy in the HD wrinkle black so that that it blended in with my fender struts.
