question about detachable saddlebag hardware

question about detachable saddlebag hardware
I was considering quick detach hardware for my saddlebags. Looking at the specs on the HD store site, it says they won't work if you have passenger floorboards. Can anybody attest to this, or have a work-around?

I have 04 heritage with pax floorboards and VH Longshots..
I used baggertail mounts. For my police hard bags..
I didn't use tail light relocate either
They all play nicely.
Baggertail told me that they will all work But guard rails won't..
