Hey folks..1st post here, and looks like a huge # of knowledgeable folks.. I am ordering the Windzone essential toolkit and want to carry on my Springer (FXSTS).. don't really want to install the teardrop tool carrier and don't have saddlebags.. Any options? Someone had mentioned that they had a softail w/ a fork bag down low on the downtubes, but seems that it would cover the voltage regulator..
Thx for the input in advance.. Wayne
My teardrop toolbox is not my favorite accessory, but it was a sacrifice I felt I had to make. I toyed with the idea of putting a bag somewhere on the front, but liked the teardrop better. I put a different lock on it and had it keyed to my ignition key, so it is more secure , too.
Thx for looking at your bike.. I went out and did the same after I got home from work ... think your thoughts on the spray would be my thoughts also..
Thx again...
