So...the guy who's customizing the rear, belt drive pulley cover, called this a.m. and wanted me to bring the bike down to check the fit, before doing the polishing....He did a great job!!! fits perfectly...He turned down the older, chrome, Rivera Primo cover I picked up, by just over 5/8" in diameter, and filled the original mounting holes and counter-sunk new holes, to fit my BDL... He also cut 8 vents into the inside/back edge, to let any heat escape..... Now it just needs to be polished and it'll be done!!!
Here's a few "un-polished" pics, I like the flat face A LOT more then the stock BDL "dome" cover, (which to me looks like a vintage, car hub cap) and I think the accent cuts are gonna go good with a few of my upcoming mods........
Before..
You can see the "vents" on the back edge here...

Just got an email.... My FP3 shipped from Revzilla today!!! (new model, now available for 2007-up) Can't wait to flash a proper tune into this bike, also be able to re-calibrate the speedo that's off from the 30/70 pulley swap.....and, I should be picking up the "polished" belt drive pulley cover today....I'll post pics when I do!!
Hey now !!!!!! I didn't go through all the pages but it looks like you've made some serious progress with the bike.
I love the change to the BDL clutch cover. Looks lame the way BDL makes it.
I think I still have my upper and lower chrome belt covers if you're still looking to address that issue. It's been off my bike for 6 years or so now lol.
I'm digging the open belt drive a lot man. I have been fighting the idea of gettin Exile cycles open belt drive (which is from Primo) from Russell. I want to be able to finally go full mids on my rocker. Right now I only have passenger foot pegs on my mid mounts. I can't tell you how comfortable the bike is with mids on it. It's like sitting on a park bench with the wind blowing on your face. It's hard to see the mid mounts on this picture but it's the latest one I've taken. Gotta take more.
Anyway, what are you doing about the speedo? I started a thread a while back about how to move the speedo off the dash. Not hard at all. The wiring is very simple, you can use DK sportster speedo relocation kit. Works just fine.
I'm subscribing to this thread to keep up. Good luck.

Thanks Alain!! Glad your checking out the progress (your Rocker is bad-*** by the way, one of my favorites!!)...and ya, I'm really happy with the BDL, but that cover had to go. lol... I'll probably also be losing the belt guard when I install the new chrome wheels and 70t pulley (on order)...You peaked my interest in the mid controls, gonna have to consider that one...and I replaced dash and speedo with a Duece console and Dakota Digital speedo/multi-guage....My plan is to keep the basic Rocker look with these mods, and I think the Duece dash still looks similar, but a lot cleaner, and the speedo doesn't look like an after thought...
Here's another look....

That Deuce dash is a vast improvement over the stock set up. You will not regret the mid control move if you got hat way. Be prepared to get a new exhaust if you want to do that, you have the most expensive part already (the belt drive).
Thanks for the compliment on my ride. I'm looking forward to seeing your new wheels.
It would be a nice ride.....but 7 hours on the Rocker??? I think I'd make it a 2 day trip!!!
Hey now, once you've got your bike set up to fit you, it eats up road trips just as well as any other non fairing bike, Just fine! I've ridden from coast to coast three times and east coast north to south several times on a Rocker.
My FP3 showed up today...went ahead and pulled the Xieds tonight, and I'll install the tuner and flash a new map in the a.m.!!!
The Xieds did as advertised, ran cooler.....but I'm really looking forward to a "real tune", especially since doing the pulley upgrade!!
