Ya, should be a nice little bump...the indy that's gonna do the work, told me "you will get a little more power with the belt drive".. besides the weight loss, there wont be any chain/oil resistance... he said I should feel the difference... We'll see!!
I wont have a Dakota Digital speedo/gauge before I do the open belt/trans pulley, it has that feature...plan on adding one when I figure out what I want to do with the center console?? So it would be hard to time it...but I'll sure let you know how much quicker it feels!!
Also....got more good news from Randy at SMW today...I really wanted to run a wider tire when I get the 21" front wheel, but I was finding almost no options with a 3.5" wheel that fits the Rockers narrow front end, the hubs are to wide. Skid pimp has the Rocker replica wheel in the 3.5" and it looks nice, but I really wanted something different...Well Randy came thru for me!! Like the 72t pulley, (when I thought I would try one), he told me he will build a wheel for me with the Rocker stock hub size in a 3.5"!!! ...So now I will be able to run a 120/70/21, with the wheels I wanted!!! which I'm sure will be a big handling improvement over the stock, skinny, 2.15" wheel and 90/90/19 tire, and I just think it looks better!!
Oh I forgot...got the last few parts in today, gonna do the tank lift and cross-over line tomorrow, then start the bars/controls switch out...hope to have it done Saturday if nothing gets me side tracked!!

Good on ya man, Glad you found the wheels you wanted. I agree the wide 21 is sexy, you doing the back too?
So I got the 2" front tank lift kit installed last night, it looked great....but today, after getting a late start, I decided that it would be a lot easier to get to the wires and connections for the controls switch out, if I removed the tank. It was fast, because the tank was still empty and I hadn't installed the new cross-over line yet. I've got all the controls, cables and brake line disconnected and will pull the bars off tonight... It might be a day or two before I have time to wire up the new controls and install the new bars, grips, master cylinder, cables and levers.... but so far so good!!!

has that bike never been ridden and stored in an bubble with heat, ac, and humidity control? I had my tank off and you can tell that there are areas that are not cleaned.
