Default What the heck?

I just replaced my fuel gauge on my '15 Fatboy Lo with a harley flat mount led gauge. As I was unclipping the wire to the fuel gauge I saw this guy dangling. Does anyone know what this is for?

If I am not mistaken, that goes to a fender tip light. Your bike like mine does not have one so the connector just its there unplugged...

I was also wondering what that connector is for. It is not for the front fender tip light. On my 2006 Heritage, there is a very short computer like wire coming out from that connector, but is not connected to anything. The fender tip light is on, so that can't be hooked up to it. Anyone else care to venture a guess? On another thread, someone else said it was connected to the amplifier.

Just out of curiosity why did you go with a flush mount fuel gauge when your new speedo reads the fuel? And yes that sure looks like the fuel sender clip..

Aux lights.

The fuel sender has 3 wires. Yellow, orange and black.

I can't speak for him for sure since his new speedo shows it, But I would venture to say that he changed it because the chrome doesn't look good on the Black tank!
