It's hot, no doubt. My stage 2 103 Dyna also ran hot. My Sportster ran hot. I'm not sure which was hottest of the three. The Sportster felt the hottest.

It is a lower compression at 9.6:1. The torque is really well placed though. For my personal needs, I don't plan on adding more performance. If high performance is the goal, paying extra for the 110 probably wouldn't be logical anyway. As a stock platform with exhaust and a tune, it's a strong motor.

Well, found a dealer willing to play ball.. 16500 otd for a 2016 slim in red with abs and cruise added
