Hard to find neutral is usually a clutch throw issue. You want at least .080 of release. If all else fails we do have a N1 shift system with neutral on the bottom an 1-6 will all be up shifts. Got the N1 on my bike and I love it.

OP...I hear what you're saying about wanting to be able to relax your hand a little bit at a stop light, but there's a school of thought out there that says to always keep the bike in gear at a stop sign or red light. I do like to let the hand relax for a few seconds at a red light from time to time, but with so many people looking down at their phones as they slow to approach a stop, I've begun to always keep the bike in gear, so I get the hell out of dodge if I need to.

Try Mobil 1 syn ATF in the primary, solved all my issues.

Well, bike related issues anyway.

My Fatboy got easier to shift into neutral after a few thousand miles.

"engine heat causes metals to expand and thus can make it difficult to locate nuetral. Especially on newer engines.
It's important to learn the ways involved at running cooler. Thus helps findin neutral much easier" YODA

I too face the same, actually HD says its for safety coz they don't want their bikes on neutral while on running. So what we have to do is just a tap, don't give any pressure, a light tap will take you to neutral. Hope it will help you guys.

I have the same issues on my Slim S, I run synthetic oil and it is rare that I can find "N" with the engine running. Not sure how to adjust the hydro clutch ( if able)...may have to read up on that.
