Where did you hear/read this????

OP:Make sure the primary lube is not too high, keep it so that it barely touches the lower part of the clutch assembly, or even a bit lower.

Never had a bike that I had a issue with before. Didn't really think I needed to break it in.

Have not read all the replies but what Dan says is true. Too much primary fluid will cause clutch drag. Also, if your clutch cable adjustment is off nuetral will be hard to find and shifts will be harder. I would start with a good clutch adjustment, check primary fluid level and check cable adjustment.
