I too face the same, actually HD says its for safety coz they don't want their bikes on neutral while on running. So what we have to do is just a tap, don't give any pressure, a light tap will take you to neutral. Hope it will help you guys.
OP:Make sure the primary lube is not too high, keep it so that it barely touches the lower part of the clutch assembly, or even a bit lower.
Have not read all the replies but what Dan says is true. Too much primary fluid will cause clutch drag. Also, if your clutch cable adjustment is off nuetral will be hard to find and shifts will be harder. I would start with a good clutch adjustment, check primary fluid level and check cable adjustment.
