Ok, so I am having a dilemma finding the height of bars to buy for my breakout. The stock drag bars are just too low! So I'm looking for pics of people around my size (6'1.5", 215lbs) on a breakout or other bike with a similar seat height and rider height, with aftermarket bars. Even if you have someone in your household with similar measurements, if you could get a side shot of them sitting on your bike, I would be forever in your debt
What I am wanting to know, is what height your bars are (or bars and risers) so I can find my optimum riding position without buying 2 or 3 sets of cables and bars at $1-2000 a set.
Sit on your bike with a poll or broom stick to simulate bars, then hold it where it's comfortable and measure (or have someone measure) the height, width and pull back at your hands, then find bars to fit those specs... Don't go by how others look on their bikes, they might be your same height, but have longer/shorter arms and or legs, or sit more or less upright than you... what feels right to you, can't be seen in a pic!! I'm 5' 10" with 16" apes on my BO...... perfect for me, but maybe too tall for other 5' 10" guys!!

That actually makes perfect sense! I shall do this and find my bars!
On the note of taller bars, the cable and wiring kits, they say for "12-14"" bars and such, am I correct in assuming that is 12-14" taller than a drag bar, on stock risers, or is that including the risers or some other weird number of things?
Not sure what kits your looking at, but when I just ordered new cables and a front brake line from Magnum Shielding for my Rocker, they were all sold by length, you put your bike model and it gives the stock replacement lengths, then you can order +2", +4" +12" etc. I would think the kits your seeing would be for the listed bar height, with the stock riser, not 12"-14" taller then what you have..

Mark, whenever I see your scoot it seems to me that your headlight is somewhat out of place...too far forward and too low. Is that due to the windshield?

That hurts bro !! , I spent $$$ getting that light low and forward and a single passing light mounted above it.
Its just something I wanted to do .
I had the windshield opening re-cut to accommodate the 2 lights and had the windshield mounting brackets modified to lay back closer to the front of the bars.
