Default Not Sounding Right

Hey everyone, I need some help. I'm not too mechanically saavy and would welcome any ideas or suggestions. I have Sreamin Eagle II's on my 2002 Deuce.Lately, whenever I let off the throttle (in any gear), my exhaust makes a sputtering sound. It does it sometime when I'm shifting gears as well. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Mine pops a little especially when shifting. Not all the time but sometimes. Depends how fast I come off the throttle. If it were really lean, it would do this much more I think...

I just had my 1000 mile service and had the stage 1 installed I already had the Sreamin Eagle II's on it. I asked the mechanic about the some thing yours is doing and he tells me that if I would add a Power commander that it will eliminate some of that if not all of it but it has something to do with the fuel mixture. I know my bike pops allot when I let off the gas and I have the bigger injectors the 25. Make a big difference.

My .02 cents.
I had the same issues with my 06 Standard until I added the Power Commander USB III.
It was mostly on decel that my bike would pop,,pop,,bang, pop. The bike is getting all air at that point with my RUSH slip on's, and the SE air cleaner kit. After the install of the PC USB III I had the machine dyno tuned and it still did it some. The mapping just needed a little fuel added to the
0% throttle column.....( I learned all this from the nice people here on the HD Forum ) at different RPM ranges..so when I roll off the throttle the bike isn't sucking all air, there is a little fuel there so the bike isn't so lean at 0% throttle in those RPM ranges.
There is more than one EFI management system out there that will solve these issues. Do a search, talk to others, gain information so you can make a choice to what is best for YOU and your bike. Keep in mind,,if you have the 07 model there were some issues with the PC USB III and a hesitation problem. I don't know if that has been resolved as of yet..??

Good luck, and..
