Default fatboy lo help

Hey yall, I'm a new rider as of last year. I purchased a 2011 fatboy lo and im looking to put some hard bags on it. But I'm curious since it is a lo that if I put bags (extended or regular) that I will have to be cautious about the bags being too close to the ground. Will I have to go with the standard bags or will extended work just fine? I would love all the help I can get. Thanks!

I don't have bags and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, but I don't think it really matters. Check with whoever you're getting the bags from as I'm sure they'd know. I think mounting hardware is going to be your bigger concern, as in detachable or not?

Awesome thank you! sweet ride by the way. Also im thinking of detachable, I wouldn't think it would be a problem but you never know. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Right, never hurts to ask. Look into easy brackets for mounting depending what you end up getting.
