They are 8â Buffalo bars. They are about $100 bucks cheaper than the Street Slammers, and I'm not sure than anyone would know the difference. I wasa little disappointed the dealership didn't want to drill holes in them to hide the lamp wires, but I'm sure you can get someone to do it. I believe the Slammers come with the holes.
Nice catch on the J&E Blue. The man knows his FLSTFs. I've got to stop spending money on this thing or I'm going to have to use it for a shelter.
I has slammers put on mine by the dealer before I picked up the bike in January. I am 6' tall and am happy with both the riding position and the look of the bars.
Also as for the thread of this topic... love the bike, no noises and the heat doesn't bother me although I dare say it will be gone once I put the PCIII on it and change to synthetic.

I just put in synthetics. I haven't had the oportunity to really heat her up yet. I'vewenton a couple of long hauls alreadyand the heat hasn't really bothered me yet. But it'sspring and not summer in Texas. I hope the synthetics keep hercool. A couple of guys did some intial research on type of synthetics for HDs. I went with:
Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50
Red Line - ShockProof Gear Oil - Heavy Shockproof in the transmission
Red Line - MTL in the primary
I'll keep everyone in the loop on the results.
I have a PCIII in mine, but I need to get it Dyno'd. They don't have maps for those pipes yet, so I had to go with the regular 2-into-1 V&H.
LOve the look of the bars! I'm trying to find a source for pullback risers forthose fat bars on my07 Fatboy. ??? Know any. I'm 6'1" and you know what that's like. I ike my bars just not the position.[sm=confused06.gif]
