Trouble starting my fatboy lo

Hi guys
Tried starting my bike up a dozen times, each time to clicking.. Finally started after switching batteries.. Starts fine now , great.. My question, Did I damage the starter due to those clicks?

It's highly unlikely there is any harm to the starter..

You did not damage the starter or the ring and pinion gear.
