Has anyone installed these baffles in V&H's Big Radius Pipes? If so, how hard was the install and did it make a difference in sound and/or performance?
I installed them in my 06 Standard w/ V&H Big Shots Staggered at the same time as I put a cam in and a few other mods over the winter, but I noticed a nice increase in power, (believed to me mostly from the cam), and a nice sound, love em...
I've put them in both the V&H Big Radius and V&H Big Shot Staggard, easy install on both. I love the sound on both also, maybe there's a slight increase in performace, I mostly put them on for the sound. If you call T.M. they are great in explaining things to you. I like mine would never go back to the standard baffle.

I installed them in my longshots after doing head work, 95 inch and s&s 570 cams and hated the things , power dropped badly from midrange to high rpm but off the line was good, much better with stock baffles, guess they don't work for everybody...sell em cheap if anybody wants them
I put a set in my Big Radius a couple weeks ago. Install was pretty easy. My assdyno says power went up but its not too accurate. Sound is great! (subjective, some hate it) Sound is as loud as open drags but with a lower tone. Living in a rural area, like I do, my wife can hear me coming when I'm still 2 miles away.
Like I stated earlier, I installed a set in my pipes.
I run a 95", 204 cams and some headwork. They were a total disaster.
I lost all of my low end and midrange.
I experimented with placement and I got the best results with them installed 6" in, but still not even close to making the same power as the V&H stock baffles.
I thought they sounded like $hit. They were definitely louder, but not nearly as bad-a$$ sounding as the V&H baffles.
Engine combinations make a serious difference with your results. Some claim more power, and some like me claim they're a power killer.
