Default LA Chopper cables.

Anyone use LA Chopper cables when moving on to Ape bars?

The black vinyl look deep black. I think I prefer the deep black look over HD Diamond black.

Curious about quality and fit.

Read they run long but that was from 2011 touring bike forum.

Thanks

La Choppers and Carlini use Barnett Cables and Goodridge brake lines. A+ on quality and durability.

Awesome. Todds Cycle actually suggested LA Choppers. Said the vinyl black looks real good.

Yes they are Barnett cables, I have used them on 2 different setups. Great cables and the kits make it easy.

I have Barnett clutch, throttle and idle cables on Reaper. Top quality stuff, and great people to deal with.

Cheers!

Only complaint i have found is the cables run a bit long.
But Todds Cycle told me to get the mini Ape kit and i will be good for 12" Apes.

Might even go with the 10" then i do not have to change anything but the bars. But the 12" are what i want. I will not know if it matters until i get back from this deployment and sit on my bike. I am only 5'8".

Almost feel like having a friend get the bars put on for me just before i get back. I plan to do a multi state ride around the SE US as soon as i get back.

Don't want to hijack this thread but I just acquired an 08 FXSTB and I plan replacing the 6" risers and drag bars with some Apes. You have the look I want and was wondering what bars you have and the height? Thanks...
