I've ordered my first batch of parts for the new FLSS.
Detachable windshield from HD
Detachable passenger backrest from HD
Passenger mounts and foot pegs from HD
Easy Brackets from Great Bike Gear
Rear signal relocation kit from Great Bike Gear
Saddlebags from Viking Bags
Should be straight forward installing these parts. Anyone have experience installing any of these parts? Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated. The rear signal relocation kit is the one that has me most nervous.
Have you taken a look at the instructions? We provide pictures and if you still aren't sure, our parts manager has installed several and can answer any questions. http://www.greatbikegear.com/media/P...S-02-INSTR.pdf
I think you'll like it. It looks so good on the Slims!

I just received the parts today. I will install them this week. My post was not meant to sound like I had problems installing the parts but rather seeing if anyone else had installed the same parts and had any issues or offer tips.
My first mod with a bike new or old, and I've had quite a few, is the engine crash guard. Saves paint, mirrors, grips, and handles, etc. if the bike falls over. My experience anyway....just saying. Makes up righting the bike easier also.
