Make sure that your terminals aren't shorting out on the frame. It is a problem on some bikes and can even cause a fire, might be why it's discharging.

First thing that would have been the bad smell of thenegative battery cable melting from the load.The smell from that and the cooking paint and powdercoating on the frame would have been a fast clue.
Duce, I still thinkyou have one of thenicest looking bikes around. Even if it doesn't run right.

It's running just fine now, Thebattery seems to be holding a charge.............. for now!
