Hey dudes,
For those of you who have a T Bag, how do you like them? I have a quick mounting question for those who do, can you mount the T Bags so they rest on your seat (not the luggage rack)? I have a detatchable Fatboy B/R, but I don't have a luggage rack. Thanks,
_Clam
My wife and I both have the bags shown on the link. We like them better than the soft sided T-bags and they don't sag over the luggage rack. They have a big velcro strap that hooks over the sissy bar plus straps to hook over the rear turn signals. These work well for us.
I use a Nelson Rigg SVT-200 roll bag to carry my rain gear and other small items such as extra glasses, gloves, etc... It is completely waterproof, sits on my passenger pillion, and attaches to the sissybar with 2 large velcro straps.
I use a Universal Expandable T-Bag with a rack from CoolSac. The rack slips on the the sissy bar and lifts right off when I take the bag off. That way I don't have to have a rack bolted on.
That rack from CoolSac looks like it is held in place by gravity and weight from whatever is on it. Any issues with it bouncing or popping loose? I like the idea of a quick release rack but don't want it to "quick release" without permission. Do you have the plastic or aluminum one? If you have the plastic one, is it sturdy?

I have two T Bags. A large one and a small one and I use one of them every day to carry my junk to work and back each day. I don't have the lugage rack on my bike, so I just flip the bag round and sit it on the passanger seat. Works great. Never had a problem with my bouncing around or coming loose.
I have used the expandable T-bag for about eleven years. Works great. I attach it to my passenger backrest/sissybar with the bag resting on the passenger seat. I use it as my backrest.
Just used my Universal expandable bag last week. I loved it. I put it on the sissy bar and strapped it down with no problems. When I got to the hotel, I unzipped the straps and made it into a backpack. I give mine 2 thumbs up.
