Default O5 fatboy seat recommendation

Hey all. Looking for some input for a seat upgrade for my fatboy. She currently has a LePera seat, while looks cool, my backside is screaming to get off after about 45 minutes.
I want something that still looks killer, but that I can ride for longer.

Run drag bars instead of ape hangers, your back will thank you for it.

Agreed, but I truly like the looks of the apes, so they will be staying

I will admit that the seat does flow with the lines of the bike but sometimes looks and being comfy don't always go together. A couple things come to mind, ride more to strengthen your backside or do exercises that are meant to strengthen the areas that are bothering you the most.

I've been doing just that Springer. I'm fine when riding alone, as I can do my own thing. But when riding with a group (which is more fun sometimes) your kind of obligated to keep up.

I've got an 04 night train with apes. Drag bars made my shoulders hurt even with 7" pullback risers. C and c seats give u a couple inches back where corbin classic seats are real close to factory maybe just a bit forward on the classic. I have a Corbin Hollywood I can ride on hour on then gotta get off but I love the look and the legroom I get with it. My corbin classic solo never any butt issues but my knees catch the wind more due to being 6'4 with 34" inseam so my hips hurt after 2 hrs but I usually gotta stop for gas anyways. I would really like to find a 2 up c and c for a decent price.

Going with that, I was in the same boat once. When I switched to a Corbin Gunfighter for my Springer , riding became much more enjoyable for me. Might check out their website and see if anything there interests ya.

Unfortunately I have come to realize by being in the business that there is ano inverse relationship between looks and comfort when it comes to seats. Typically, the cooler a seat looks, the more uncomfortable it is. I have a good looking (corbin) seat on my FLTR, it sucks for comfort. I have a great looking (Danny Gray Buttcrack Solo) seat on my Deluxe, it sucks for comfort. I have an ugly (Mustang Wide Touring) seat on my Heritage, it is like riding on my couch! When customers come in the shop looking for seats I let them know of this relationship. I usually suggest using the two seat approach, have your good looking yet uncomfortable seat for your daily or around town riding, and have a comfy but aesthetically unpleasing seat for longer day rides or road trips. While I realize this is not the easiest on the walket, it in my opinion is the best way to get the best of both worlds. You already have the cool looking seat (I like the seat on your bike), now take a look at something big and wide for the comfort seat. Take a look at Mustang seats as I find them (I have ridden on all brands of seats) to be the most comfortable when broken in to your backside.
