Hi all, I sure could use some help.
I'm about to sell a nicely modified 2000 Fat Boy that has been ridden very little i nthe last 5 years. I started it up a couple of weeks ago and a tiny rubber tube hanging down from the carburetor started spewing gas. It's still dripping and I'm not sure how to handle the situation. Any and all help would be highly appreciated, Thank you!
the needle is leaking as said above .
take it for a ride on less than smooth road.
the gas flow ,and road vibration may just clean the needle and seat.
If that doesn't work, at least you got a ride in

Try starting the bike, turning off the fuel with engine running, run till it dies, turn fuel back on and restart. This used to work for my last bike.
